2 Connection and Putting into Operation
2.1. Attachment
The CISS is built into an automotive housing.
Use the screws and washers included in delivery to mount the CISS
to the desired position.
If a magnetic mounting is required, apply the included screws to the
bottom of the CISS. With these screws applied, the CISS can be moun-
ted to any magnetic surface.

2.2. Putting into Operation

Connect the USB cable included in delivery to the CISS and to the
USB power supply (such as a PC or a power adapter). The CISS is
now ready to be put into operation:
The data logger application is pre-installed and can be configured in
the WebApp of the gateway (see 2.3.2 or the user guide).
Corresponding firmware is required for each CISS application. This
firmware is pre-installed when delivered. A change of the application
requires a firmware update (see 2.3.4 or the user guide).

2.3. Data Transfer

Data can be transferred in three ways:
• Mobile app (data display only)
• Gateway (Raspberry Pi)
• PC
