2. Install the hose lines with a steady gradient from the product towards the
tank, avoid bends.
- In the case of outdoor tanks, install the hoses with a gradient of 4 %.
If the hose line does not have a steady gradient to the tank or if condensate
can collect in the line, use a condensate trap at each lower point of the hose
line.
1. Do not install any shut-off fittings.
2. In outdoor or underground applications, install the hose lines in suitable
liquid-tight, shock-resistant and weather-resistant protective pipes.
3. Connect the measuring line to the measurement connection of the inter-
stitial space.
4. Connect the exhaust line to the tank vent pipe.
- If an AFRISO Euroflex withdrawal system is used, the exhaust line can
be directly connected to the Euroflex return connection in the case of
single-line operation.
5. Connect the suction line to the hose connection of the interstitial space.
6. Install a liquid barrier in the suction line.
- Mount the liquid barrier vertically, for example, at the manhole cover.
7. Push the cover over the
connections to protect
hose line connections.
