At an installation angle smaller than 20º, it is necessary to
1)
shorten the support rail S by the measurement specified. After
shortening the support rail, drill a 8 mm hole in the support rail
(in the same position as the original hole).

For wall-mounted installation up to a slope angle of 74º,
flat roof holders are screwed on to pre-assembled profi-
les, or are fastened directly to the wall with wall plugs (if
the wall has sufficient load-bearing capacity). For this,
holes are drilled in the centre of the bottom rail.
For thermally insulated facades, make sure that the
foundation has sufficient compressive strength. Ap-
propriate fixing materials can be purchased from produ-
cers of thermal insulation systems.
The fixing material you choose (wall plugs, etc.) must
meet static requirements and be suitable for the on-site
brickwork.
Minimum pull-out loads of the wall plugs
• 2 kN for buildings up to 8 m tall
• 3 kN for buildings between 8 and 20 m tall
The construction party is responsible for providing
on-site support structures.

Where possible, install the collector at an angle to the
wall. Use the holders described in the installation in-
structions for this.
For angles larger than 60º (e.g. vertical installation on
the wall), fit the top of the collectors on-site with a cover
plate. During heavy rainfall, water could otherwise get
into the collector via the ventilation holes. Metal flashing
should also be secured against effects of the wind.
An additional cover plate is not necessary if the roof
offers sufficient protection.
