VACUUMING WET OBJECTS

Per aspirare oggetti umidi eseguire quanto segue:
1. Remove the cover before removing the cover, loosen the retaining hooks (1) located at the side of
the collection shaft (2) (Fig. 1).
2. Check the fabric filter has been removed (Fig.1).
NOTE: If you are using cartridge filters or dust-collecting bags instead of the cloth filter,
check that they have been removed.
3. If present, check that the sponge filter (3) is correctly inserted under the suction head (Fig. 2).
NOTE: For wet use, it is advisable to check that the inside of the collection shaft is emptied
from any residual dust before use. For use in the wet the accessory to be used is
always the one with the squeegee tires and it is advisable to remove the cloth filter.

1. Refit the suction cover over the collection drum, remember to fix it using the retaining hooks.
2. Insert the suction pipe (1) from the suction nozzle (2) present in the collection keg, press button (3)
to release the latch (Fig. 1) before pulling the suction pipe.
3. Select the most suitable accessory for the work you are doing. Insert the selected accessory into
the suction pipe, if necessary use also the extension tubes.
4. Insert the plug in the power cord into the mains socket.
ATTENTION: Do not exceed the maximum mains impedance value allowed for the electrical
connection point (see Technical Data). Please contact your electrical energy supplier if in
doubts concerning mains impedance on the connecting point.
CAUTION: Do not insert the power cable into the socket of the mains plug with wet hands.
5. Switch on the appliance by turning the main switch (4) to position "I " (Fig. 2)
NOTE: If the type of work requires it also activate the second suction motor.
NOTE: The machine is equipped with a mechanical device (float) placed under the suction
cover which, when the collection drum is full, closes the air passage to the suction motor,
protecting. In this case the sound of the motor Aspiration will be more gloomy. Drain the
collection drum (see paragraph "emptying the collection Drum").

EMPTYING COLLECTION TANK
At the end of the work and before any type of maintenance, do the following:
1. Bring the appliance to the place used for emptying the collection shaft.
NOTE: The place used for this operation must comply with the current environmental
compliance regulations.
CAUTION:These operations must be carried out using gloves to protect your hands.
2. Switch off the appliance, set the main switch (1) to the "0" position (Fig. 1).
3. Remove the plug from the power supply cable from the mains socket.
WARNING: To avoid damage to the power cord, disconnect the mains plug from the mains
socket by pulling the plug directly instead of the cable.
4. Remove the suction cover (2), before removing the head loosen the retaining hooks (5) located at
the side of the collection drum and Disconnect the Flex (4) from the sleeve above the cover (Fig.
4) and lay it on the ground.
5. Allentare i ganci (8) e poi alzare il fusto dalle maniglie laterali (9) e svuotare il fusto.
NOTE: If present, remove the fabric filter from the inside of the collection frame before
emptying the appliance.
NOTE: If present extract the collection filter bag from inside the collection drum, taking care
not to tear it. If the bag is in the paper throw it in the place used for the discharge,
while if it is in cloth empty it only.
6. Refit the whole.

At the end of the work, and before carrying out any type of maintenance, perform the following
operations:
1. Take the appliance to the place where it is maintained and carry out all the procedures listed in the
chapter " MAINTENANCE".
2. Take the appliance to the designated machine storage place.
3. Take all necessary steps to ensure that the device is in a safe condition (see
ATTENTION: Park the appliance in an enclosed place, on a flat surface; near the appliance
there must be no objects that could either damage it, or be damaged through contact with
it.
The correct cleaning of the suction unit guarantees a greater efficiency of the appliance and a higher
performance during the work, to carry out the following maintenance:
1. Carry out the steps to put the appliance in safety
2. Remove the suction cover (2), Before removing the lid, loosen the retaining latches (5) located at
the side of the collection drum and Disconnect the Flex (4) from the sleeve above the cover (Fig.
4) and lay it on the ground.
3. If present, remove the sponge filter (5) and clean It (Fig. 2) and clean the mechanical float (6) with
a damp cloth. When dry, refit the sponge filter (Fig. 3).
NOTE:If the filter surface is extremely dirty, it is advisable to brush the filter to thoroughly clean
it with a normal soft brush, if necessary wash it in water.
WARNING: Check the wear condition of the sponge filter if the filtering surface is particularly
obstructed or damaged, proceed with the replacement.
4. If present, remove the cloth filter (6) (Fig. 4) and clean it. When dry refit the cloth filter.

NOTE: If the filter surface is extremely dirty, it is advisable to brush the filter to thoroughly clean
it with a normal soft brush, if necessary wash it in water.
NOTE: If you use cartridge filters or dust-collecting bags reusable clean them with a jet of
air and check their storage status if necessary to replace them.
WARNING: Check the wear condition of the fabric filter if the filtering surface is particularly
obstructed or damaged, proceed with the replacement.
5. Wipe the inside of the collection drum with a damp cloth.
6. Refit the suction cover (2) over the collection drum, remember to attach it to it using the retaining
hooks (3).
7. Disconnect the suction pipe (7) from the suction nozzle (8) present in the collection shaft, press the
Lock release button (9) before pulling the suction pipe (Fig. 5).

8. Clean the inside of the suction pipe with a jet of compressed air, if necessary remove any
obstructions.
9. Disconnect the accessory used for cleaning.
10. Clean the inside of the accessory suction chamber with a jet of compressed air if necessary remove
any obstructions.
