Do not fill the inner pot (12) above the 6 CUP/1.0 L marking to prevent the rice
cooker from overflowing.
Press the lid release (2) and open the lid.
Remove the inner pot (12).
Now add the rice and water to the inner pot (12). Add the amounts indicated on the
packaging for the rice.
If you add too little rice or water, the rice will not come out right. Always fill the rice
and water at least up to the 1 CUP marking.
Place the inner pot (12) back in the rice cooker.
Please make sure that the outside of the inner pot (12) is dry and clean and that the inner pot
(12) is not tilted or crooked when you insert it. If not, the safety switch will be triggered and
the rice cooker will no longer switch on.
Close the lid.
Insert the plug (5) to the power cord inlet (8) and plug the power cord into the socket.
Use the ON/OFF switch (10)
The yellow LED (6) lights up.
Press the function selector (7) down. The yellow LED (6) switches off and the red LED (9)
switches on. The rice cooker is now in cooking mode. Cook the rice according to the times
indicated on the packaging.
Always use the plastic spoon (14) that comes with the rice cooker to remove the rice
in order to avoid damaging the non-stick coating on the inner pot (12).
Store the plastic spoon (14) in the holder (11) to ensure you always have it when you
need it.
Once the rice is done cooking, the rice cooker automatically switches to keep warm mode,
the red LED (9) goes out and the yellow LED (6) lights up.
Use the ON/OFF switch (10) to turn the rice cooker off, open the lid and remove the rice.
Alternatively, you can keep the cooked rice warm in the rice cooker for up to two hours. Then
use the ON/OFF switch (10) to turn the rice cooker off, open the lid and remove the rice.

7.3 Preparing non-precooked rice

To achieve better results, we recommend that you apply a small amount of grease or
vegetable oil to the inside of the inner pot (12).
Press the lid release (2) and open the lid.
Remove the inner pot (12).
Now use the measuring cup (13) to measure out the desired amount of rice. Use the
following as a general guide: one measuring cup = one portion of rice. Cook several batches
of rice to find the proper portion size for you.
Wash and sift the rice. If you do not wash the rice, this may result in more foam and the rice
may not taste as good. Always follow the rice maker's instructions on how to prepare the
rice.
Now add the rice to the inner pot (12) and push it down to make it even and level.
