Wipe the housing and the power cable (10) with a damp cloth. Put a little mild detergent on
the cloth to remove stubborn dirt. Then wipe out with a damp cloth to remove any detergent
residues. Make sure that the machine and power cable (10) are completely dry on the outside
before using again.

9. Storage when not in use

If the ice cube maker is not to be used for an extended period, store it in a safe, clean and dry
place.
Empty the water reservoir (13) and clean thoroughly as described in the section on
"Maintenance/cleaning".
Leave the lid (1) open and allow everything to dry thoroughly before closing the lid (1) and
storing the ice cube maker in a safe place away from dust.

10. Troubleshooting

If your ice cube maker does not work as normal, follow the instructions below to try to solve the
problem. If working through the tips below does not fix the fault, please contact our hotline.

10.1 The ice cube maker does not work

The mains plug is not plugged in. Insert the mains plug into a mains socket.
The mains socket is defective. Test the ice cube maker in a different mains socket that you are
certain is working.

10.2 The "ADD WATER" LED (4) is on

There is too little water in the water reservoir (13). Top up the water.
The water filter at the bottom of the water reservoir (13) is blocked. Remove any
objects/deposits blocking the water filter. If necessary, you can pull the water filter straight
upwards to clean it. Make sure you replace it before using the machine again. Follow the
instructions on removing stubborn dirt and deposits in the section on "Maintenance/cleaning".

10.3 The "ICE FULL" LED (5) is on

The ice cube basket (14) is full. Remove the ice cubes. Production resumes automatically.
The infrared sensors above the ice cube basket (14) are dirty and indicating that the ice cube
basket (14) is full. Clean the infrared sensors with a soft cloth.

10.4 Both "ADD WATER" (4) and "ICE FULL" (5) LEDs are on

The ice cube bowl at the back of the machine is blocked. Check whether the blockage has
been caused by an ice cube and, if so, remove it carefully. Restart the machine by
disconnecting the mains plug from the mains socket and plugging it back in again.

10.5 No ice cubes made or ice cubes too small

The ambient temperature is too high, it should not exceed 43°C.
The water temperature is too high, it should be between 8°C and 25°C.
