always insert extension stops or 0° stops.
The stops define the exact excursion of
the orthosis. In difficult soft-tissue
conditions, e.g. where the soft-tissues are
under com pres sion, it may be necessary
to insert a larger stop to limit the joint
movement to the desired excursion. In
addition, make sure that the orthosis
hinges are correctly positioned: the
middles of the hinges should be in one
line with the upper border of the patella.
The hinge must lie behind the midline of
the leg.

Fitting instructions

• Open all straps and the two front hook
and loop fasteners. Release the straps
from one of the two hook and loop
points.
• Put your leg into a 45-degree angle
flexion position. Wrap the brace
closely around the leg from behind and
close the two hook and loop fasteners
(Image 1).
• Make sure that the kneecap is
positioned centrally in the space for
the patella. Position the brace in such a
way that the centres of the hinges are
level with the upper edge of the
kneecap and just behind the middle of
the side of the leg. (Image 2).
• Now, fasten the bottom calf strap
(Image 3) and then the top thigh strap
(Image 4).
• Close the top calf strap (Image 5) and
the bottom thigh strap (Image 6).
• If possible, walk a few steps in order to
check whether the brace is in the
correct position (Image 4). Please
adjust the position as required
(Image 7).

Care instructions

Please close the hook and loop fasteners
before washing and remove the
ortheses. Soap residues, lotions and
ointments can cause skin irritation and
material wear.
• Wash the product by hand, preferably
using medi clean washing agent.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
    

Storage instructions

Keep the brace in a dry place and do not
expose to direct sunlight.

The product can be disposed of
in the domestic waste.

serious incidents which could lead to a
significant deterioration in health or to
death are to be reported to the
manufacturer or the relevant authorities
in the EU member state. The criteria for
serious incidents are defined in Section
2, No. 65 of the Regulation (EU) 2017/745
(MDR). The traceability of this product is
assured via a UDI code .
