4.1

STARTING A CALL

This chapter shows the various functions of the DIVUS CIRCLE from the end user point of view i.e., when you
stand in front of the device and want to use its features.
4.1.1

USING THE BELL ICON

On all the models of DIVUS CIRCLE, the main and most intuitive action is pushing the bell icon to start a call. The
icon will disappear for the time it is pushed as
Ringing by pushing the bell button, on the other hand, does not make sense for configurations with more than
one possible call receivers. In such cases, the bell button is hidden automatically to avoid confusion and you start
a call by pushing the chosen target directly.
Attention: If more than one button is displayed on the dashboard, the bell button is hidden
Once the call is started, you will hear the calling tone as you are used from normal phones and see an animation
(DIVUS CIRCLE only, see image above). After a timeout of 30 seconds, the tone will stop and the call will close. If
the call is answered before 30 seconds, you can talk to and hear the callee which will most probably open the
door to let you in from the DIVUS VIDEOPHONE app he uses to answer from the inside. The LED ring will pulse
during the call.
