Installation and servicing should only be carried out by trained, qualified personnel.
The Fronius DC Box 60/12 should not be installed in potentially explosive areas.
The solar module strings may be connected only while in a de-energized state. The circuit
of the solar modules should be interrupted at another location or the solar modules should
be covered during installation.
The photovoltaic system DC voltage should not exceed a voltage of 850 V DC in a no-
load situation.
The cover of the Fronius DC Box 60/12 should be kept closed.
For repair and maintenance work, the inverter should always first be disconnected from
the grid (AC side), then the DC disconnect in the inverter should be opened (if available).
The Fronius DC Box 60/12 should be wired on the inside with a ground and short circuit
protection.
When connecting, ensure correct polarity.

WARNING! Solar modules can generate dangerous voltages in light and solar
modules cannot be turned off. To ensure a safe work environment, special pre-
cautions should be taken for installation. If required, solar modules should be cov-
ered.
