3.2. Water connection in the open system
In pressureless flow operation, the water can only be
withdrawn at one point.
Only fittings for open domestic hot water cylin-
ders may be used.
This fitting is installed in the cold water inlet of the
domestic hot water cylinder.
A non-return valve must be installed that guaran-
tees that water can not flow back from the do-
mestic hot water cylinder into the water network.

It is advisable to install a drain nozzle.
Before connection to the power supply, the do-
mestic hot water cylinder must be filled with wa-
ter.
If the water in the device is heated, its volume ex-
pands. This means that the drain pipe of the fitting
starts to drip. This behaviour is related to the func-
tion. Excessive tightening of the two valves on the
fitting can not prevent this dripping.
