Operation with the SIMATIC Management Agent
In order to integrate the IPC bundles into the plant managed with the SIMATIC Management Console, you can install or
activate the SMA (SIMATIC Management Agent) during the initial commissioning or system restore.
You can choose whether or not to use the SMA in this dialog:

computer by means of the SIMATIC Management

Operation with DiagMonitor monitoring software
Installing DiagMonitor
If your device uses the "A1 image" (see "Scope of delivery of the software (Page 17)"), you can install the DiagMonitor
monitoring software as follows.
Procedure
1. Insert the Restore USB stick into your device.
2. Navigate to the "Additional_Products" folder and open the version-specific DiagMonitor folder.
3. Run the following files:
DiagMonitor_Silent_Install.bat

CM_Activate.exe
–
The DiagMonitor monitoring software is installed.
4. Reboot the computer.
5. Configure the SNMP service. You will find information on this in the section: "Configuring SNMP service (Page 25)".
6. Now configure the monitoring functions of DiagMonitor. You will find information on this in the section: "Configuring
monitoring functions (Page 25)".

The SMA remains on the computer with the
associated service SIMATIC Management Agent
