• Place a washer (42) and a nut (48) onto the end of each of the studs.
• Tighten the nuts hand-tight.
Mounting the hinges
• Place a hinge (30) in the pivot hole (79) (fig. E3).
• Hold the motor frame assembly between the brackets (77) as shown
(fig. E4).
• While holding the motor frame in vertical position with one hand, locate
the hinges (30) between the lugs (80) behind the edges on each end of
the motor frame.
• Align the holes in the brackets, the motor frame and the hinges.
• Insert a bolt (31) into each of the holes.
• Place a nut (33) onto the end of each of the bolts.
• Tighten the nuts.
Mounting the bevel lock knobs
• While holding the motor frame assembly in vertical position, place a
washer (32) between the brackets (77) and the edges on each end of
the motor frame (fig. E5).
• Align the washers with the square holes (81).
• Insert a coach bolt (29) into the holes.
• Place a bevel lock knob (28) onto the end of each of the bolts.
• Tighten the knobs.
Mounting the bevel stops
• Insert a screw (35) fitted with a washer (52) into the slot on the left-hand
side of the lock knob (28) in the front bracket (77A) (fig. E6).
• Insert a screw (35) fitted with a washer (52) into the slots on both sides
of the lock knob (28) in the rear bracket (77B).
• Place a washer (52), a toothed washer (36) and a nut (38) onto the end
of each of the screws.
• Tighten the nuts hand-tight.
Mounting the riving knife (fig. F1 - F3)
Required hardware parts: 1 coach bolt (44), 1 Belleville washer (45), 1 nut
(46) (fig. F1).
• Place the riving knife (6) against the support plate (81) with the slotted
hole located over the lugs (fig. F2). Take care that the arrow (82) on the
support plate points to the top of the riving knife.
• Place the clamping plate (83) against the riving knife.
• Insert the bolt (44) into the slotted hole in the mounting bracket (84)
(fig. F3).
• Place the riving knife assembly against the mounting bracket with the
edges located around the bracket.
• Place the Belleville washer (45) and nut (46) onto the bolt.
Make sure that the hollow side of the Belleville washer is
against the clamping plate.
• Tighten the nut hand-tight.
Mounting the blade clamp washers (fig. G1 & G2)
• Slide the spacer (85) onto the blade arbor (86) (fig. G1).
• Rotate the blade arbor (86) until the key hole (87) faces up (fig. G2).
• Insert the key (88) into the key hole.
• Place the inner clamp washer (89) onto the arbor (fig. G1). Take care
that the key remains in position.
• Place the outer clamp washer (90) onto the arbor.
• Fit the blade nut (91). Make sure that the ring of the blade nut is seated
against the outer clamp washer.
• Tighten the nut hand-tight.

Mounting the blade guard assembly (fig. H1 - H4)
Required hardware parts: 2 nuts (23), 2 flat washers (24),
7 crosshead screws (34), 2 Allen screws (35) (fig. H1).
Mounting the moveable guard
• Hold the moveable guard (92) between the brackets (77) (fig. H2).
• Place a washer (24) between the brackets and the moveable guard.
• Align the holes in the brackets, the washers and the moveable guard.
• Insert a screw (35) into the holes.
• Place a nut (23) onto the end of each of the screws.
• Tighten the nuts.
Mounting the fixed guard
• While holding the moveable guard (92) in vertical position, place the
fixed guard (93) against the motor frame aligning the screw holes (fig. H3).
The edge of the moveable guard must fit behind the flanged lugs (94)
on the fixed guard.
• Mount the fixed guard to the motor frame (63) using the screws (34).
Mounting the dust spout
• Place the dust spout (95) against the blade guard aligning the screw
holes (fig. H4).
• Mount the dust spout to the blade guard (93) using the screws (34).
Assembling the legstand (fig. I1 - I3)
Required hardware parts: 16 flat washers (24), 16 hex head bolts (37),
16 nuts (38) (fig I1).
Mounting the legs
• Hold the first leg (96) in position against one of the corners of the table
top (fig. I2).
• Align the holes in the leg and the edges of the corner of the table top.
• Insert a bolt (37) into each of the holes.
• Place a washer (24) and a nut (38) onto the end of each of the bolts.
Tighten the nuts finger tight.
• Repeat as for the other legs.
Mounting the crossbars
• Hold a short crossbar (97) between each pair of legs mounted to the
short side of the table (fig. I3).
• Align the holes in the legs and the ends of the crossbars.
• Insert a bolt (37) into each of the holes.
• Place a washer (24) and a nut (38) onto the end of each of the bolts.
Tighten the nuts finger tight.
• Repeat as for the long crossbars (98).
Mounting the switch box (fig. J1 - J5)
Required hardware parts: D27400: 2 crosshead screws (39), 4 crosshead
screws (40),3 cable clamps (41) (fig. J1). D27400T: 2 crosshead screws (39),
3 cable clamps (41), 2 slotted head screws (53), 2 flat washers (54),
2 nuts (55) (fig. J1).
• To fit the bracket to the switch box, follow either of the following
instructions:
- D27400: Fit the bracket (99) to the switch box (100) using the
screws (40) (fig. J2).
- D27400T: Pass the screws (53) through the bracket (99) and the
switch box (100) as shown (fig. J3). Place a washer (54) and a nut
(55) onto the screws. Tighten the nuts.
• Mount the switch box (100) to the table top using the screws (39) (fig. J4).
• Clip the clamps (41) onto the cable (101) leading from the switch box
to the motor (fig. J5).
• Secure the clamps to the receding edges of the table top.
