WARNING: Hot surface. Risk of burns. The steam wand, brewer
spout, metal funnel, metal parts, and surfaces of the appliance marked with
this sign become very hot during use and are subject to residual heat after
use. Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use handles or knobs.
Do not immerse the appliance in water for cleaning.

7.2 General information

Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous playing material for
children.
Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. Make sure the power cord is not in a position
where it can be pulled on by children or pets, or tripped over by anyone.
Maintenance, modifications and repairs must only be completed by a technician or an authorised repair centre.

service or other technical personnel.

7.3 Handling

Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.

7.4 Operating environment

Place the appliance on a flat, stable and dry surface, such as a table or kitchen worktop.
Protect the appliance from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture, flammable
gases, steam, and solvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
Ensure the power cord does not touch the hot surface of the appliance.
Keep the appliance and its power cable away from open flames, hot surfaces, and other heat-emitting appliances.

7.5 Operation

Before connecting the appliance, check that the voltage of the wall outlet corresponds to the rated voltage marked
on the rating plate of the appliance.
This appliance comes with a grounded plug. Ensure the wall outlet to which the unit is connected is well earthed.
Unplug the unit from the mains outlet after each use. Do not leave the unit unattended during use or while it is
connected to the mains.
WARNING: Risk of scalding. During operation, this appliance produces hot water and hot steam under
pressure. Use care when using the appliance. Always keep your hands, face and body at a safe distance from the
steam wand and funnel or brewer when using the appliance to avoid burns.
– Do not remove the water tank or funnel when the machine is brewing coffee or the steam wand is in use. This
can damage the appliance or hot water/steam can spray out resulting in burns.
– Do not overfill the funnel with ground coffee, as this can prevent proper mounting of the funnel. Do not remove
the funnel while the machine is still brewing coffee. Doing so can cause hot water/steam to escape and spray
out resulting in burns.
– Before brewing coffee, make sure the funnel is turned to the specified position and properly locked to prevent
it from loosening due to pressure differences, which can result in injury.
Do not let the appliance operate without water in the water tank.
