4. The markings on the bean box indicate the grind level, as shown below. Make sure the desired grind level setting
is aligned with the marking on the top cover.
5. Make sure the bean box is installed in place and the bean box indicator (on the left side of the control panel) is
switched off.
6. Add the appropriate amount of coffee beans to the bean box. To prevent the coffee beans from getting wet, which
affects the grinding process and the coffee flavour, do not put too many coffee beans in the bean box.
7. Put the funnel with the single-cup or double-cup filter into the powder receiving bracket, as shown below.
8. Press the GRIND button to start grinding. The grinder will stop automatically after reaching the set volume. You
can also press the grind button to manually stop the grinding process.
9. Take out the funnel, tap the funnel on the worktop and pre-spread the coffee grounds in the filter.
10. Using a coffee tamper, apply a force of about 12.5 kg to compact the coffee powder (see below).
