Important:
Please note that the grinding wheel cannot be directly rinsed with water.
1. Make sure there are no beans in the bean box.
2. Press the GRIND button and check that the grinder is working properly and that no coffee powder leaks out from
the powder outlet.
3. Disconnect the appliance from the mains socket.
4. Rotate the bean box counterclockwise to remove the bean box.
5. Turn the internal grinding wheel counterclockwise to remove, use the attached cleaning brush to clean the grind-
ing wheel and remove the coffee powder in the wheel.
6. Use the attached cleaning brush to clean the grinder chamber and the powder channel.
7. Before installing the grinder wheel, re-install the empty bean box and press the GRIND button to let the grinder
run and release the powder residue in the grinder chamber. (If the powder is not removed completely, repeat
steps 3 to 5).
8. Disconnect the appliance from the mains socket.
9. Remove the bean box counterclockwise and install the grinding wheel.

14 Descaling

It is recommended to descale the machine every 4-6 months. The descaling process takes about 10 minutes.
This product has a descaling reminder function and a descaling program. When the system detects that the amount
of liquid released by the machine has reached 15 litres, the descaling reminder will activate and the machine will
automatically enable the descaling function.
Always complete the following descaling preparations before running the descaling program or when the descaling
alarm sounds.
Step 1 – Preparing the machine for descaling:
Ensure that there is at least 1 litre of water in the water tank.

Empty the drip tray and install it back in place.

Turn on the machine and ensure it is in standby mode.

Place the double-cup filter into the funnel.

Place the funnel into the funnel bracket.

Step 2 – Preparing the descaling solution.
Prepare only 1 of the following descaling solutions:

a. Coffee machine descaling tablets:
Add 1 litre of water to the water tank. Add the descaling tablets and wait for the descaling tablets to dissolve.
b. Liquid descaler:
Add half a cup of liquid descaling agent into the water tank, then add 1 litre of warm water and allow the solu-
tion to mix thoroughly.
c. White vinegar and warm water:
Add 40 ml of white vinegar to the water tank, then add 1 litre of warm water and allow the solution to mix
thoroughly.
Insert the water tank in place.
