Place a 1 litre container under the brewing head and another 1 litre container under the steam wand.

Step 3 – After completing the above steps, start the descaling process.
You can exit the descaling process at any time by pressing the ON/OFF button.
The GRIND indicator light and clean/preheat indicator light will flash when descaling is in progress.

If descaling does not start within 1 minute, the appliance will exit the descaling cycle and return to standby

mode.
DESCALING PROCESS (approx. 10 minutes)

1. In standby mode, hold down the ON/OFF + DOUBLE buttons to manually start the descaling process.
When the clean/preheat indicator light turns on and flashes quickly, follow the steps below.

Descaling cycle:
2. Turn the knob to the steam position. The pump will start to pump hot descaling solution from the brewing head
and steam wand. This step is completed when the hot descaling solution stops flowing from the brewing head
and steam wand.
When the machine has completed this step, the steam indicator light will turn off and the central position

indicator light will start to flash.
3. Turn the knob to the central position.
The hot water indicator light, central position indicator light and steam indicator light will turn on.

Preparation for the rinsing cycle (prepare within 5 minutes):
4. Clean and fill the water tank with fresh water, and reattach it to the machine.
5. Empty the 1 litre containers and place them back on the machine.
