Rinsing cycle:
6. Turn the knob to the hot water position.
The hot water indicator will turn on and the pump will start to work. The hot water will be pumped through the
Æ
brewing head and steam wand. The rinsing cycle is complete when hot water stops flowing from the brewing
head and steam wand.
When the machine has completed the rinsing cycle, the clean/preheat indicator will turn off and the central
Æ
position indicator will start to flash.
7. Turn the knob to the central position.
The hot water indicator, central position indicator and steam indicator will turn on. The machine will beep and
Æ
the ON/OFF indicator light will stop flashing to indicate the completion of the descaling process.
The steam indicator will turn off and the central position indicator will start to flash to remind you to turn the
Æ
knob back to the twelve o'clock position.
8. Turn the knob back to the vertical position to return the machine to standby mode.
Important:
After completing the descaling cycle, perform the rinsing cycle to remove any descaling solution from the tubing
of the machine.

15 Troubleshooting

Issue
The indicator lights do not turn on.
The indicator on the front panel of
the machine is red.
There are watermarks on the bottom
of the machine.
There is a ticking sound after start-
ing the machine and a hissing sound
after the coffee is delivered.
No coffee comes out from the fun-
nel, or coffee comes out from the
funnel drop by drop, or the funnel
cannot be installed in the funnel
bracket properly.
Cause
The coffee machine is not plugged
in, or the ON/OFF button was not
pressed.
The bean box is not installed.
The water tank or the water tray is
not installed correctly or the drip tray
is full.
This is normal; the sound is pro-
duced by the normal operation of
the pressure control valve.
There are too many coffee grounds
in the filter, the grounds are too fine
or excessive pressure is being used.
Solution
Insert the mains plug and make sure
you press the ON/OFF button.
Install the bean box.
Make sure that the water tank and
drip tray are installed correctly, and
the drip tray is empty.Make sure that
the water tank and drip tray are in-
stalled correctly, and the drip tray is
empty.
If the issue persists, send the ma-
chine to your local authorised main-
tenance center for repair.
The amount of powder should not
exceed the standard filter volume.
Adjust the grind level of the grinder
to an appropriate coarseness. Do
not press repeatedly with excessive
force when compacting the powder.
