Combustíveis recomendados
Algumas gasolinas convencionais são misturadas com compostos oxigenados, como álcool ou um composto de éter para cumprirem com
as normas de ar puro. O seu motor está concebido para funcionar satisfatoriamente com qualquer gasolina para automóveis, incluindo

gasolinas oxigenadas.
4. INSTRUÇÕES DE FUNCIONAMENTO
Arrancar com o motor frio

Ateste o depósito com o combustível (ver secção "Combustível e Lubrificação"). Pouse o aparelho no chão para que permaneça estável.
•
Carregue no acelerador (A). (bloqueia automaticamente.
•
Para o arranque, injecte combustível no carburador. Pressione a bomba manual de gasolina (C) 10x.
•
Aunidade foi concebida com 2 posições de arranque "START" e "RUN". Deslize a válvula para "START"
•
Segure o punho com firmeza.
•
Puxe um pouco a corda do arrancador até sentir resistência (aprox.100 mm). Puxe a corda do arrancador rápida e continuamente, até o
motor arrancar. Assim que o motor entre em funcionamento, alivie o acelerador durante 10 s e liberte-o.
•
Mova para baixo o bloqueio do acelerador (B), o manípulo (A) voltará à sua posição inicial.
•
Mova a válvula "RUN".
Nota: Se o motor falhar o arranque após várias tentativas, leia a secção "Resolver problemas do motor".
Nota: Puxe sempre a corda do arrancador em linha recta. Puxar o arrancador com ângulo fará com que a corda friccione no olhal,
o que fará com que esta fique puída e desgaste mais depressa. Segure sempre o punho do arrancador quando a retrai. Nunca deixe a corda
voltar atrás a partir da posição esticada, pode danificar o próprio arrancador.
Parar o motor
Procedimento de paragem de emergência
Se for necessário parar o motor de imediato, CARREGUE no motor para PARAR o motor.
Modo de paragem normal
Para uma paragem normal do motor, liberte o gatilho e deixe o motor voltar à velocidade de ralenti. Depois CARREGUE no interruptor para
PARAR o motor.
Arranque com o motor quente
Após paragem do motor de 15-20 minutos
•
Puxe a corda do arrancador. O motor deverá arrancar após 1 ou 2 puxões. Nunca puxe mais do que 6 vezes. Se mesmo assim não
arrancar, repita os passos 2 a 6 da secção "Arranque com motor frio".
•
Se o motor não pegar, ou pegar e parar em seguida, repita os passos da secção " Arranque com o motor frio".
Funcionamento do soprador

Este soprador foi concebido para remover facilmente folhas e resíduos de locais como pátios, passeios, jardins e muitas outras áreas onde
se possa acumular.
ATENÇÃO! Devido às folhas e resíduos que podem voar com o vento, aconselhamos o uso de óculos de protecção ou máscara,
sempre que trabalhar com o soprador.
Antes de utilizar o soprador, reveja as instruções de segurança no manual. Todas as precauções e regulamentos mencionados no manual
são para protecção do próprio utilizador.
AVISO! Posicione o soprador de maneira a que o ar quente expelido não danifique a roupa ou seja inalado.
NÃO UTILIZE o soprador perto de outras pessoas ou animais. Mantenha uma distância mínima de 9 metros. Recomendamos o uso de
máscara quando trabalhar em locais poeirentos. Mantenha-se a uma certa distância dos resíduos que pretende retirar, para que consiga
controlar facilmente a direcção para onde o soprador os envia.

Recommended fuels
Some conventional types of petrol are blended with oxygenates such as alcohol or an ether compound to meet clean air standards. Your
engine is designed to operate satisfactorily on any petrol intended for automotive use including oxygenated petrol.
4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Starting a cold engine

Fill fuel tank with proper petrol and oil mixture. See Fuel and Lubrication. Set the unit on the ground so that it rests on the housing feet.
•
Pull the throttle trigger (A). (It will auto lock).
•
Prime the carburettor. Pump the primer bulb (C) 10 times.
•
Your unit is designed with a 2 position choke (D): "START" and "RUN". Move choke lever to "START" position.
•
Grip handle firmly.
•
Pull the starter rope out a short distance until resistance is felt (approximately 100mm). Pull the starter rope until the engine starts or
attempts to run. Once the engine starts, warm up at full throttle for 10 seconds and release throttle.
•
Push down the throttle lock (B), the throttle trigger (A) will return back to the normal position.
•
Move the choke to "RUN" position.
Note: If the engine fails to start after repeated attempts, refer to the Troubleshooting Section.
Note: Always pull the starter rope straight out. Pulling the starter at an angle will cause the rope to rub against the eyelet. This friction will
cause the rope to fray and wear more quickly. Always hold the starter handle when the rope retracts. Never allow the rope to snap back from
the extended position. This could cause the rope to snag or fray and also damage the starter assembly.
Stopping the engine
Emergency Stopping Procedure
When it is necessary to stop blower engine immediately, DEPRESS the switch to STOP the engine.
Normal Stopping Method
For normal stopping, release trigger and allow engine to return to idle speed. Then DEPRESS the switch to STOP the engine.
Starting a warm engine
The engine has been stopped for no more than 15-20 minutes.
•
Pull the starter rope again. The engine should start with ONE or TWO pulls. If the engine fails to start after 6 pulls, repeat steps 2 through
6.
•
If the engine does not start, or starts and then stops after 5 rope pulls, follow the procedure "STARTING ACOLD ENGINE".
Blower operations

Your blower is designed to easily remove debris from patios, walkways, lawns, bushes, etc., and many hard to reach areas where debris can
accumulate.
WARNING! Because of flying debris, always wear American National Standards Institute (A.N.S.I.) approved shielded safety
glasses or a face shield when operating the blower.
Before using your blower, review the Safety Precautions in your User Manual, and all regulations for operation of the unit. These precautions
and regulations are for your protection.
CAUTION! Hold the blower so that the hot exhaust does not damage clothing and is not inhaled by the operator.
DO NOT operate the blower with other people or animals in the immediate vicinity. Allow a minimum of 30 feet (9 meters) between the
operator and other people or animals. We recommend that a face mask be worn when operating the blower in dusty areas. Stand away from
the debris, at a distance that will easily allow you to control the direction of blown debris. Never blow debris in the direction of bystanders.
