1 Overview
1.1 Function
The WERMA AndonWIRELESS configuration software can be used to set up the
Andon WirelessBOXes and Transceivers individually.
The combination of an Andon WirelessBOX with 2 or 5 buttons and a Transceiver allows for the tiers
of a WERMA signal light to be controlled via a wireless connection.
The system can be designed flexibly. For example, an Andon WirelessBOX can control one or more
signal lights (wireless network 1:1, wireless network 1:n) or several Andon WirelessBOXes can control
one or more signal lights (wireless network n:m) or several WirelessBOXes (wireless network n:n).
In exceptional cases, a system can also consist of only two Andon WirelessBOXes. The
Andon WirelessBOXes must be powered via the USB port so that the buttons light up and display the
status.

Andon WirelessBOXes with 2 or 5 buttons can be used together in a wireless network. The
Andon WirelessBOXes can also have different button configurations.
For the Andon WirelessBOX and Transceiver to communicate correctly, the Andon WirelessBOX and
Transceiver must use the same radio channel and network ID.
