MACHINE MAINTENANCE
7.15 MOWING MECHANISM
WITHDRAWAL FROM MACHINE
Lower the mowing mechanism to the lowest position
by shifting the height setting-up lever 6.1.17
to the position 1.
Release the V-belt by pulling the tension pulley
and remove the belt.
Take out the spring 3 from the arm of the tension
pulley.
Lift the tunnel a little in its front part and free
it from two pins welded on the mowing mechanism
frame. Then shift the tunnel backwards by about
10 cm and secure it.
• Drag out the resilient cotter pins from the front pin 2
and both rear pins 1 of the mowing mechanism
suspension.
Note: To shift out the mowing mechanism with
safety and easy, we recommend to release the lightening spring 4.
Shift out both rear pins 1 of the mowing mechanism suspension by means of a pliers.
At the shifting out be careful in order not to injure Your hands or fingers.
Shift out the front pin 2 of the suspension.
Drag the V-belt out of the electromagnetic clutch pulley.
Slowly withdraw the mowing mechanism from the machine to some side.

7.16 ADJUSTMENT OF KNIVES DRIVE INDENTED BELT

Lower the mowing mechanism to the lowest position by shifting the height setting-up lever
6.1.17 to the position 1.
Loosen the bolt of the plastic cover on the right-hand side in the driving direction and lift
the released cover.
Loosen the nut of the tensioning mechanism with the toothed pulley 3 under the metal-sheet
plate so that it will be possible to turn, with a slight resistance, the washer under the nut.
Loosen the locking nut 2 and turn the nut 1 in the clockwise direction and check the tension
of the belt. The belt is tensioned correctly if it sags approx. by 0.5 cm when the force of 4 kg
is applied in the middle distance between pulleys 3 a 4.
Retighten the locking nut 2 of the tensioning device and retighten the nut of the tensioning
mechanism with the toothed pulley 3.
Mount the plastic cover and tighten its fixing bolt.

7.17 REPLACEMENT OF BELTS

It is rather demanding operation, entrust it to the authorized service.

7.18 WHEEL CHANGING

Before changing any of the wheels, stop the engine and remove the key from the ignition.
Place the machine on the supports by the procedure stated in the chapter 7.9.
Remove the protective cover from the wheel.
Remove the retaining ring, the washer and pull the wheel down from the shaft.
On the shaft of the rear wheels there is a key.
The rear wheels of the machines equipped with the TUFF TORQ K62 hydrostatic gearbox
are attached by means of nuts. When changing the wheel, unscrew the nuts and pull the wheel down.
At the wheel reassembly use the reverse procedure than at its dismantling.
Before putting the wheel on, clean all parts and lubricate the shaft slightly with grease.
At putting the rear wheel on, take care of the mutual position of the key on the shaft
and the keyway in the wheel.

7.19 HYDROSTATIC GEARBOX MAINTENANCE

To ensure the reliable function of the gearbox it is necessary to keep the oil level in the correct height. The prescribed values are stated in the table below.
The filling holes of the gearboxes are accessible after removing the tunnel from the machine (see the chapter 7.15). If problems with the gearbox occur
contact immediately the authorized service, otherwise the danger of a serious damage to the gearbox threatens.
