An active transaction is terminated automatically after a preset time. This is
necessary in order that transactions for which no last step has been defined, such
as for instance an account balance query, are terminated correctly. The timeout is
indicated in seconds.

If a transaction is terminated by a timeout, an archive entry "Status=2" is made.
In some cases the camera interface of the cash dispenser is configured such that a
telegram - usually STEP11 - is sent when the customer has taken the money from
the slot. The first telegram of this STEP is sent when the money is delivered
through the machine slot, and the second telegram is sent when the customer
takes the money from the slot. If the customer fails to retrieve the money, the cash
dispenser retracts the banknotes left in the output slot. In that case, the second
telegram is not sent and an archive entry is made (status=1) indicating that the
customer did not receive the money. If the money is retrieved, the status is set to
"0".

We speak about a linked transaction when, for instance, a customer withdraws
money immediately after querying his account balance without withdrawing his
debit card.
At the computing centre, the two transactions are registered with successive
transaction numbers.
The following telegrams will be sent over the camera interface of the cash
dispenser: The account balance query is terminated by STEP 6; then another
STEP 6 telegram is sent in which the transaction number (sequence number) is
already incremented. This telegram is allocated to the cash withdrawal.
If the entry in the .ini file is VKSTEP=6, then SISTORE MX or SISTORE MX Pro
expects this telegram sequence from the cash dispenser; all images related to this
process will be saved to the archive.
