To connect the MX Multi-Channel Box to SISTORE MX and SISTORE MX Pro,
proceed as follows:
1. Connect the devices. See Section 9.1: Geräte anschließen.
2. Configure the MX application for the MX Multi-Channel Box. See Section 9.3:
MX Multi-Channel Box mit der MX-Applikation parametrieren.
3. Configure settings in the GAA.ini file. See Section 9.4: Einstellungen in der
GAA.ini-Datei .
MX Multi-Channel Boxes can be connected to:
SISTORE MX or to
SISTORE MX Pro (Black Box).
Prerequisite:
Use only a 1 to 1 cable with pins 2 and 3 wired.
Connect all MX Multi-Channel Boxes (RS485) in series (physically parallel) to the
SISTORE MX (COM1/COM2). See Section 6.1: SISTORE MX.
Prerequisite:
When connecting the MX Multi-Channel Box to SISTORE MX Pro (black
–
box), an RS232 to RS485 converter has to be used. See Section 5: Details
for ordering.
Use a cable that has pins 2 and 3 wired between the MX Multi-Channel
–
Box and the converter.
4. Connect an RS232 to RS485 converter to the SISTORE MX Pro
(COM1/COM2).
5. Connect all MX Multi-Channel Boxes (RS485) in series (physically parallel) to
the RS232 to RS485 converter. See Section 6.2: SISTORE MX Pro.
