Recycling/discarding
In accordance with EU Directive 2006/66/EC:
This symbol indicates 'separate collection' for all batteries and
accumulators. Your truck uses a lead accumulator and, in case of some
battery-powered truck, a lithium battery. Materials contained in batteries
(include accumulators) are hazardous to the environment and humans,
so batteries should be returned to the manufacturers for recycling.
Discarding the battery
When the battery in your truck is flat (change it with a new battery) or if
the entire truck is to be scrapped, special regard to environmental risks must be taken
when disposing/recycling batteries.
Consult a Toyota Dealer about changing or discarding the batteries.

CAUTION PLATES

Caution plates are attached on the truck. Before using it, please be sure to read them
thoroughly. When caution plates become unreadable, dirty, or damaged, replace with new ones.
Regarding caution plate indicators, ask a Toyota dealer. (The sample shows those of an English
version.)

LOAD AND STABILITY
All
forklift
trucks
exceed
requirements laid down by the reference
directives and standards, which assure a
sufficient degree of stability under normal
working
conditions
with
correct
reasonable use.
The stability of forklift trucks is affected by
the ground characteristics, tyres, general
maintenance condition of the truck and the
type of use.
Actual capacity
The maximum load that the truck can carry,
lift and stack to a specified height, at a
specified load centre distance and reach if
applicable, in normal operation.
Load centre
Distance from the centre of gravity of the
load, measured horizontally to the front face
of the fork arm shank and vertically to the
upper face of the fork arm blade.
Maximum lift height
Maximum lift height is the highest position
of the forks with the mast in the vertical
position (2).
The arrow shaped marking on the mast left
member show the current lift height (only
available on masts with maximum lifting
height above 3300 mm).
Actual capacity plate
1
The actual capacity is indicated on the
capacity plate attached to the truck. A plate
is supplied for each attachment.
Capacity values shown in the plate refer to
the forklift truck as it is when delivered.
The actual capacity value (3) can be read
by crossing the load centre column (1) with
the lift height row (2).
The capacity plate indicates the maximum
load weight that can be lifted at a given
height, or the maximum lift height for a load
with a given weight.
Caution
Caution
Fitting other attachments or changing the
tyre type or other components, affects the
values reported on the plate. In this case
plates must be replaced.
