4.0 Intended Use

Assembly BR133

BR133 is delivered in separate parts and must be assembled before initial use. The scope
of delivery of BR133 is shown in chapter 6 "Scope of Delivery". Assembly is carried out
in three steps, as listed below.
I. Check Delivery for Completeness
Check by using Figures 1 and 2 and corresponding Table 1, that all required parts
of the BR133 are part of the delivery.

II. Fitting the Nose Bridge
Carefully fit one of the four delivered nose bridges (Fig. 2, 5.2) on the inside of the left and the right
eye cup (Fig. 1, 3). To do this, push the nose bridge into the tabs of the left and right eye cups.
The tabs are located on the narrow side of the eye cups. Do not use excessive force on the tabs as
this may damage them. Ensure that the nose bridge is firmly mounted in the tabs and does not slip
out of the tab.
The flexible length-adjustable nose bridge is recommended as it allows

for easier adaptation to different face geometries.
III. Fitting the Eyeglass Strap
Carefully fit one of the two supplied eyeglass straps (Fig. 2, 5.1), using the two clips, on the left and
right eye cup (Fig. 1, 3). First pull one side of the eyeglass strap through the closed side of the clips
(Fig. 2, 5.3) and then through the tab on the wide side of the eye cups. The tabs are located on the
wide side of the eye cups. Do not use excessive force on the tabs as this may damage them. To fix
the strap, pull the end of the strap through the open side of the clips. Make sure that the eyeglass
strap is firmly in the tabs and does not slip out of the tab.
The strap can be flexibly adapted to the head size of the particular patient.
NOTE:
This allows easy adaptation to various head anatomies. It is recommended
that the strap is adjusted to fit the patient's head before each use.
