3.0 Symbols and Definitions
TEMPERATURE LIMIT
Specifies the temperature limit to which the PPE can be exposed to safely.
STORE PROTECTED FROM SUNLIGHT
Indicates that the product should not be stored in direct sunlight.
KEEP DRY
Indicates that the product should be stored in a dry place.
PROTECTION AGAINST IONISING RADIATION
Indicates that the product provides protection against ionising radiation.
WASH AT MAX. 40°C
Indicates that the product may be washed at max. 40°C.
DO NOT BLEACH
Indicates that the product must not be bleached.
DO NOT IRON
Indicates that the product must not be ironed.
DO NOT TUMBLE DRY
Indicates that the product must not be tumble-dried.
DO NOT DRY CLEAN
Indicates that the product must not be dry-cleaned.
NON-STERILISABLE
Indicates that the product cannot be sterilized with ethylene oxide, radiation,
aseptic processing techniques, steam, or dry heat.
