Personal protective equipment - radiation protection glasses and visors - is recommended
for users of systems that use X-rays for diagnostics or therapy, and thereby serves to protect
against ionising radiation.
The information in Table 2 corresponds to the standard IEC 61331-3: 2014.
The lead equivalents and attenuation factors in Table 2 were determined according to IEC 61331-1:2014.

The weight may vary for eyeglasses with prescription.
Lateral protection for the lens can be achieved by either shaping the front glasses
or adding additional inlays (glass, or other materials). For inlays, we specify the relevant
protective values here.
