Turning off
Switching the device off: hold it with the search coil upwards for about three seconds.
The LED will flash. Two short moments of vibration and no light from the LED indicate
that the device has been turned off.
Note!
The detector will turn off automatically if battery is low. The device will signal this
with four long moments of vibration and a bright LED light.
Tips!
- The projected detection field is oval, the greatest detection sensitivity is in the
center, under the search coil.
- The device will not detect metal while it is turned on or off when the LED is flashing.
3.3.2. SBS-MD-13
Installing battery.
Open the battery compartment by turning the battery cover counterclockwise.
Connect a standard 9V alkaline battery to the battery connector and insert the battery
into the search coil. Close the battery compartment by turning the battery cover
clockwise. Press the cover down as far as it will go to ensure waterproofness.
Turning on.
Turn the device on using the ON / OFF button. The device will beep, vibrate and the
LED will light up. As soon as the LED stops flashing, the device is ready for operation.
Turning off.
To turn the device off, press the ON / OFF button for two seconds.
Note! The device will turn off automatically after 20 minutes if no target is detected
or if the battery is low. The device will beep and vibrate and the LED will flash for
approximately 15 seconds. Replace the battery.
After locating a target, the device signals it with sound and vibrations. The closer the
device is to the detected target, the more intense the acoustic signal and vibrations
are. The device has three detection modes:
1. Press the power button once for sound signal. The device beeps when an object is
detected.
2. Press the power button twice for vibration. Once an object is detected, the device
vibrates only.
