4 Safety Precautions
► Operate the sprayer in a well ventilated location.
► Do not spray in the direction of
bystanders.
► In windy conditions: Do not work with the sprayer.
► Do not eat, drink or smoke while working with and
handling plant protection products.
► Never blow out nozzles, hoses or other components
with your mouth.
► Wash your hands, face and clothing after work.
￭ If electrical equipment, electrical connections, sockets
and live power cords come into contact with plant
protection products, electric shock may result. Persons
may be seriously or fatally injured and property may be
damaged.
► Do not direct the spray jet at electrical systems,
electrical connections, sockets and live cables.

Transporting

4.8.1 Transport
WARNING
￭ The sprayer can turn over or move while being
transported. Persons may be injured or property
damaged.
► Switch off the sprayer.
► Remove the battery.
► Press the switch lever of the spray gun to release the
pressure.

prevent it turning over and moving.

harm individuals, animals, plants and the environment.

plant protection product.
► Transport plant protection products in approved
containers.
4.8.2 Battery
WARNING
￭ The battery is not protected against all ambient
conditions. The battery may be damaged if it is exposed to
certain ambient conditions and damage to property may
occur.
► Never transport a damaged battery.
► Store the battery in non-conductive packaging.
￭ The battery may turn over or shift during transport. This
may result in personal injuries and damage to property.
► Pack the battery in packaging in such a way that it
cannot move.
► Secure the packaging so that it cannot move.
