The intermediate boards used only for erection, taking down and conversion of the
scaffold and to access a higher board do not need to be equipped with platforms.

After completion of the work, the mobile scaffold must be properly anchored and
secured against unauthorised use. Alternatively, dismantle the scaffold.
–
If the mobile scaffold is used outside of buildings, secure it to a fixed structure, if
this is possible.
–
Install stabilisers and ballasts, as well as outriggers and wall brackets as described
in this installation and user manual.

Tools and materials must be carried up to the platform, and may not be hoisted with
lifting gear. Ensure that the maximum load capacity of the working platform is not
exceeded by the weight of the tools and materials. The use of lifting equipment is
prohibited.
–
The working platform must always be accessed as prescribed in this manual.
–
The bridging of gaps between the scaffold and building sections by means of planks
or similar equipment is prohibited. Do not use the scaffold as a climbing facility to
access other structures.
3.3 Safety instructions for the movement of the scaffold
–
The scaffold may only be moved, if it carries no persons and no material.
–
The scaffold must be moved by hand. Move it only over firm and level surfaces
that are free of obstacles.
–
The moving of the scaffold by means of a vehicle of any type is prohibited.
–
Do not move the scaffold at speeds that exceed the normal walking speed.
–
Move the scaffold only forward and back, and to the left and right, i.e. parallel
to the sides of the frame.
–
Ensure that the surface on which the scaffold is moved has the necessary
load-bearing capacity.
–
It is forbidden to lift or hoist the scaffold.
–
Do not move the scaffold at winds over strength 6 (~ 45 km/h).
–
Before using the scaffold, ensure that all necessary safety measures have been
taken and that the scaffold it secured against inadvertent movement, e.g. by the
application of the brakes.
3.4 Safety instructions for work on electrical systems
Prior to carrying out any work on electrical systems and units, ensure that
–
the unit is disconnected from the power supply
–
the unit is secured against inadvertent switching on
–
all parts have been tested for residual voltage
–
the unit has been grounded and short-circuited
–
adjacent parts that remain powered are properly covered or cordoned off
