1. General instructions

a) The RollTec may only be assembled and disassembled by people who are familiar
with the assembly instructions.
b) Damaged components may not be used.
c) Only original components according to the manufacturer specification may be used.
d) The ground on which the RollTec is set up, has be able to carry its weight.
e) Before using the scaffold, it has to be checked if the scaffold is assembled properly
and completely in accordance to the assembly instructions and also if it is perfectly
vertical.
f) The installation and usage of lifting devices is not permitted.
g) The installation of tools to bridge a gap between the RollTec and a building is not
permitted.
h) If the platform is set up higher than 60 cm, it is essential to use an appropriate
ascending assistant (e. g. a step)
i) Entering and leaving the platform is only aloud by using the provided accesses.
j) It is not permitted to jump on the platform.
k) The maximum loading capacity is 200 kg.
l) It is not permitted to connect a number of RollTecs to create a birdcage, surface or
load bearing scaffold.
m) The RollTec may only be moved manually and only on solid, even and free of
obstacle installation areas.
n) Before entering the platform, the brakes have to be locked into place.
o) When using the scaffold on a staircase, it has to be ensured that the stand space is
big enough for the castors. The space to the step edge should not less than
150 mm. The castors have to prevented from relocating on the staircase, maybe
additional safety measures have to be taken.
p) When moving the RollTec no person or material may be on the platform.
q) After moving the RollTec it has to be ensured that all safety-sets are hand-tightened.
