Connection with inductive load
With inductive loads, the float switches should be protected by connection to
an RC element (snubber) or a free-wheeling diode.

Protective RC elements
Depending on the operating voltage, use RC elements exclusively in ac-
cordance with the table below. RC elements other than those specified
here will lead to the destruction of the reed switch.
