Can I do my own maintenance on the bicycle?
Your Powerfl ex dealer is specialised in the maintenance
of the Powerfl ex bicycle. In connection with the
guarantee, it is recommended to have your dealer
undertake the maintenance and the repairs to your
Powerfl ex bicycle. This applies in particular to the
electrical parts, such as the battery, motor, control
system, cables, display and crankshaft. The guarantee on
the Powerfl ex bike becomes null and void in the event of
improper use or repairs by unauthorised persons.
It goes without saying that you can carry out minor
maintenance, such as replacing batteries (in the front
and rear lights), cleaning, keeping your tyres at the right
pressure, etc.
Can I remove the motor wheel to replace a tyre?
No, this is a drastic intervention. When you need to
replace an inner or an outer tube, your Powerfl ex
dealer will have to do that. You may not remove the
wheel (with the Powerfl ex motor) yourself. You can
only fi x a fl at tyre when you do not have to loosen or
remove the Powerfl ex wheel.

Can any bicycle repair shop maintain/repair my bike?
Normal bicycle maintenance can be done by any
dealer. However, only your Powerfl ex dealer is trained
and authorised to maintain and repair the Powerfl ex
technology of your bicycle.

Does my bicycle comply with European legislation?
Your Powerfl ex bicycle complies with all the statutory
requirements and standards that apply to bicycles with
pedal support (EPAC standard EN 15194) and to city
and trekking bicycles (EN
also complies with the requirements of the Machinery
Directive (CE marking) and the Electromagnetic
Compatibility (EMC) Directive.
Is it safe to ride a Powerflex in view of electric radiation?
Your Powerflex bicycle complies with statutory
requirements in relation to electric radiation
(Electromagnetic Compatibility). The electromagnetic
radiation of your bicycle is within the safety standards.
You can use your Powerflex bicycle safely without
interfering with other equipment.
