Controller
Together with the display, the controller is the heart of
the operating system of your Powerfl ex bike. The unit is
placed in the front plastic compartment of the rear rack,
as well as the battery lock. Thus creating a compact unit
with the rack.
This controller sets the power to the motor on the
basis of the set support and signals from the crank
sensor. This motor control is adjusted specifi cally to
the Powerfl ex motor and battery and is extremely
responsive. The special crank sensor ensures that the
support switches off automatically within the statutory
required 2 metres if the pedals are keptstill. The system
ensures that the electric pedaling assistance is gradually
reduced as soon as the legally permitted maximum
speed of 25 km/h is reached.
The motor and controller are completely maintenance-
free. Should you experience any problems, please
contact your Powerfl ex dealer immediately.

The whole electric system is supplied with power by the
battery module placed in the rear rack.
This battery is available in four capacities – M, L, XL
and XXL. The type of battery can be recognised by the
letter on a sticker on the back of the battery (behind the
transparent red rear-light unit). The choice of battery
depends on the conditions in which the electric bike is
used and the required range. Talk with your Powerfl ex
dealer about the best solution for your use.
TIP:
You can always purchase a second battery to
increase your range by changing battery during
the trip.
