The battery output depends on the temperature.
The lower is the ambient temperature, the lower is the
actual capacity and the output voltage of the battery.
And therefore in colder weather conditions the battery
discharges faster.
Is it recommended to have a second battery?
Yes Powerfl ex batteries can be used in any Powerfl ex
bike with a corresponding operating voltage of the
system.
Can I use the battery from my partner's bicycle?
Yes, a Powerfl ex battery can be used in any other
Powerfl ex bicycle.

Will my lights work when the battery is empty?
The bicycle lights (front and rear) operate on separate,
loose batteries and are independent from the motor's
battery.
Service & guarantee
Which guarantee provisions apply?
A Powerfl ex bicycle and parts (including the battery) are
covered by a manufacturer's guarantee of 2 years.
For an exact description of the guarantee provisions,
see the Chapter "Guarantee provisions", page 14 of this
manual.
How often do I need to take the bike for a service?
In consultation with you, your Powerfl ex dealer will
determine the maintenance intervals. The dealer will set
the maintenance interval on the display. After an agreed
number of kilometres, the display shows a spanner
(Fig. 03 e) to indicate that your Powerfl ex requires
