BATTERY AND BATTERY CHARGER
Battery chargers have a number of built-in safety features:
• The quick charger switches off automatically after
5 hours, the normal charger after 12 hours
• Protection against overcharging
• Protection against temperature (below 0 °C and above
45 °C.
• Charge process is specifi cally for Li-ion battery cells
Preferably charge the battery at room temperature,
between +10 °C and +30 °C. The charger has
a temperature safety feature and will not charge if the
temperature is below freezing (0 °C) or above 45 °C.
Make sure the battery charger is in a sturdy and dry
position during charging. Do not cover the battery
charger during use.
Charging time
The above table provides an overview of the time (hh.
mm) required to charge the battery for diff erent batteries
and chargers. NB: the times are only an indication. It goes
without saying that the charging time is shorter if the
battery was not completely empty.

Connect the charger to the mains. A red 'power' control
light on the charger comes on.
Note:
You can only use the battery charger on a 100-240 VAC grid.
Connect the plug from the charger to the socket on
the battery (Remove the rubber cap from the charge
socket of the battery). As soon as the Powerfl ex battery
is connected, a second red 'status' control light will come
on and this means the battery is charging.
