LIGHTS
Front and rear lights are powered by separate AA or AAA
batteries.
For some modifi ed models of e-bikes the lighting can be
powered by a dynamo, most often integrated into the
front wheel (only for e-bikes with rear-wheel drive)!

Front light
On City and Sporty bikes, you switch the front light on
and off by pushing the button between the light and the
refl ector.
If your e-bike has a front light with AUTO ON/OFF
feature, do the following: Turn on the light in the AUTO
mode by gently pushing the button. The activation is
indicated by fl ashing (5x). In this mode, the light turns
on automatically at dusk or in the dark. In the daylight
or when parking the e-bike, it turns off (combination of
a light and motion sensor). For continuous lighting hold
down the button for 5 seconds.

In both cases, the light is turned off by pushing the
button. Deactivation is indicated by blinking (1x).

When replacing the front light battery, proceed as
follows:
Loosen the locking screw on the bottom of the light.
Remove the front part of the light and replace batteries.
Pay attention to the correct polarity. Then, put the front
part of the light back and fi x it with the locking screw.

Rear light
You switch on the rear light by pushing the button in the
middle of the refl ector. If you push the button again, the
light goes off .
Note:
If you remove or put back the battery, it is easy to
touch the on/off button of the rear light. Always switch off
the rear light from a removed battery.
