BATTERY AND BATTERY CHARGER
•
If you don't use your bike for a longer period of time
(more than 4 weeks), we recommend keeping the
battery charged at approximately 50% in cold and dry
place. Storage temperature must not fall below the
freezing point (0 ºC).
•
If the bike is not used regularly, we recommend
charging the battery every 3 months, but at least
once every 6 months. In case the battery has not been
charged for a longer period of time the cells may get
damaged due to a low-level discharge.
•
A full battery charge is indicated by fl ashing green
light on the charger. The battery charge level can also
be checked by viewing the battery status indicator.
•
The battery must not be charged at temperatures
below 0 ºC or above + 45 ºC.
•
The battery must not be exposed to fl ames or other
open heat source.

TIP:
If you set the trip distance on the control display
to 0 after a full charge, it is easy to work out how
many kilometres you can ride on a full battery.

Battery charger
You use a Powerfl ex battery charger to charge the
battery of your electric bike. There are two types,
a normal charger and a quick charger. It is best to talk to
your Powerfl ex dealer about the best solution for your
use.
The charger should only be used to charge a Powerfl ex
battery; it is not intended for other purposes.
Using another type of charger may be dangerous and
may aff ect the capacity of the battery. If you use another
type of charger, the guarantee on the battery becomes
void.
