The most important functions at a glance
Stitch length adjustment buttons (A)
When you select a stitch the machine will au-

tomatically set the recommended stitch length
which will be indicated by numbers on the LCD
screen.
The stitch length can be adjusted by pressing
the stitch length adjustment buttons.
To shorten the stitch length, press the "−"

button. For a longer stitch length, press the "+"
button.
The stitch length can be adjusted between
"0.0– 4.5". Certain stitches have a limited
length.
Mode selection button for direct stitch selec-
tion or stitch selection by number input (D)
When switching the machine on, the LCD dis-

play will display the direct mode .
In direct mode, you can select the 10 standard
stitches by pressing the corresponding button.
The stitch pattern is shown once more next to
the buttons.
If you wish to select one of the 99 patterns and
decorative stitches, you have to press the
, button to enter number selection mode. The

Touches pour le réglage de la longueur du

Lors de la sélection d'un point, la longueur recom-

mandée du point est automatiquement réglée et
s'affiche avec des chiffres sur l'écran.
La longueur du point peut être réglée manuelle-
ment en appuyant sur la touche de la longueur du
point.
Appuyez sur « − » pour diminuer la longueur du

point. Appuyez sur « + » pour augmenter la longueur
du point.
La longueur du point peut être réglée entre « 0.0–
4.5 ». Certains points ont une limite quant à leur
longueur.
Touche de sélection du mode pour une sélec-
tion du point directe ou une sélection du point

Knop voor het instellen van de steeklengte

Wanneer u een steek selecteert, wordt de aan-

bevolen steeklengte automatisch ingesteld en
weergegeven op het LCD-scherm met getallen.
De steeklengte kan ook anders worden ingesteld
door te drukken op de steeklengteknoppen.
Druk op de knop "−" om de steeklengte kleiner te

maken. Druk op de knop "+" om de steeklengte
groter te maken.
De steeklengte kan worden ingesteld van "0.0–
4.5". Sommige steken hebben beperkt lengtes.

Bij het aanzetten van de machine, verschijnt de

directmodus op het LCD-scherm.
In de directmodus kunt u de 10 standaardsteken
selecteren door op de bijbehorende knop te druk-
ken. Naast de knoppen wordt het steekpatroon
weergegeven.
Om eenvan de 99 steken en patronen te kiezen,
