1. General

The combined E/H field meter enables electrical (E)
and magnetic (H) fields to be detected and also pre-
cisely measured.
The measured values are acquired using a separate,
adaptable transducer and indicated on a 3.5-digit LC
display with additional quasi-analogue bar graph in-
dicator.
The semi-automatic range selection feature detects
the optimal measuring range and makes the meter
easier to use. The device has a peak function for de-
termining peak values. In addition it is possible to save
the contents of the display using a hold function.
An integrated filter function makes it possible to place
limits on the frequency range of the source of inter-
ference.
In the "low" operating mode the device only acquires
interference in the frequency range below 500 Hz pre-
dominantly caused by mains frequency fields such
as electrical installations in houses, halogen lamps,
etc.
The "high" operating mode suppresses the frequen-
cies below 500 Hz and permits an evaluation to be
made of high frequency interference up to 100 kHz
(PC monitors and similar).
It is also possible to indicate electrical and magnetic
fields over the ranges given in the "Technical data"
section.
