PEAK
By pressing the "HOLD/PEAK" button once brief-
ly, you can select the PEAK mode. In this mode the
current measured value is saved on the display.
However, as soon as a higher value is measured,
this is displayed immediately and saved (peak val-
ue memory).
You can return to normal mode by briefly pressing
the "HOLD/PEAK" button twice.
5.3.2. Auto-power OFF
In normal mode the device is automatically
switched off approx. 5 minutes after the last but-
ton is pressed. This Auto-power OFF function can
also be deactivated, e.g., for extended measure-
ments to determine a peak value (PEAK).
Change-over is performed by pressing the "ON/
OFF" and "E/H" buttons simultaneously when
switching on the device.
If the current condition is not known, you should
leave the device switched on for at least 5 minutes
prior to leaving it unsupervised during an extend-
ed measurement. If the device remains switched
on, the Power-OFF mode is deactivated; the de-
vice must then be manually switched off after use.
