mode by turning the FUNCTION selector, or press

"VID3/6CH" mode.
2. Play the component corresponding to the FUNCTION
selected.
3. The picture from the video source can be seen on the
TV and the sound from the video source will be
heard from the speakers.
DVD 6-CH DIRECT INPUT
If you own a DVD player equipped with 6-channel
output, this receiver allows you to obtain the full
surround sound impact of DVD source material
featuring multi-channel encoding. Since the source
signals are digital and each channel is input
independently, the resulting ambiance is far superior to
what can be achieved with conventional surround
sound systems.
When "VID3/6CH" (DVD 6CH) is selected, the source
levels of individual channels (L, C, R, LS, RS, SW)
cannot be adjusted. However, the Center and Rear
level can be adjusted from –10 dB to +10 dB (in 1 dB
steps) using the CENTER and REAR LEVEL up/down
buttons on the main unit and remote control unit.
