NOTE
Readers can only be connected at a later stage if the SREL3 can be
reached via the network.

NOTE
Fault through electromagnetic fields
Signals on the connection cable between reader and controller are in-
fluenced externally by electromagnetic fields. A shielded cable reduces
the influence of disruptive signals from outside.

Ground loop through shielding
Physically separated devices can have a slightly different earth potential. A screen con-
nected on both sides represents a second earth connection through which this potential
difference is balanced. The current arising from this can disrupt the data transfer.
Only connect the screen on one side to the common ground potential (either on the

controller or the reader - for reasons of space, connection to the controller is recom-
mended).
