7. Center the profile disk (2). Shape the curtain pins
into a ring with one hand and press lightly onto
the profile disk (2).
8. Tighten the screws (1) with a torque of 0.4 Nm.
5 Installing the SCG-HSS
5.1 Installation Instructions
CAUTION
If the air pressure is too high while the pin curtain extends, the pins
speed up and become separated from the gripper.
Risk of eye injury
4 Apply a maximum of 2 bar of compressed air on compressed air connection (2) for
extending the pins.
4 Be careful while connecting the pneumatic lines.
4 Check that the connections are installed correctly on a regular basis.
4 While extending the pins, do not hold the gripper toward your face.
4 Wear eye protection.

Leakage of compressed air during installation and maintenance
work
Risk of injury from powerful airflow, particles and noise
Damage to hearing and eyes!
4 Deactivate the compressed air supply before installation and maintenance work.
4 Wear ear protection and protective glasses.
