5. Temperature Sensor Installation

(1) The TC2 sensor should be attached after the distributor, on the coldest part of the heat exchanger pipe.
(2) The TC1 sensor should be installed approximately 200 mm behind the header of the AHU heat exchanger.
(3) The TC1/2 sensor should be insulated for optimal system performance.
(4) The room temperature sensor should be installed where air enters the room.

Note
• Braze the sensor holder at the location suggested above and fix the sensor with a sensor clip.
• The TC1/TC2 sensor should be installed where the temperature of heat exchanger can be measured accurately.
• Additional backwater bend is required for horizontally mounted sensors.
• For vertically mounted sensors, the sensor sleeve needs to be inserted from the bottom up
• When the sensor is installed, it should be fixed firmly and in full contact with the copper tube.
The sensor and the copper pipe should be covered by a heat preservation sheath to prevent the detection of
temperature deviation.
