PERSONALIZATION

This appliance is provided with a SET-
TINGS menu that allows you to modify the
factory settings as you want.
When you switch on the machine, by turn-
ing the programme selector dial, press the
button 4 to activate the OPTIONS menu.
By pressing again the same button you can
move through all the available options till
when you locate the SETTINGS menu.
Press the button 5 to access in the menu.
Use the button 4 again to scroll all the set-
tings and press button 5 to confirm your
choice.
Setting the brightness
The BRIGHTNESS setting allows you to
modify the backlight intensity of the display.
By pressing the button 4 , you can increase
or decrease the brightness.
You can choose between different levels
from 0 to 9 (0 = min. - 9 = max.).
Press button 5 to confirm your choice.
Setting the contrast
The CONTRAST setting allows you to mod-
ify the optical characteristic of the display.
By pressing the button 4 you can increase
or decrease the contrast.

FIRST USE

• Ensure that the electrical and water
connections comply with the installa-
tion instructions.
• Remove the polystyrene block and
any material from the drum.
• Before the first wash, run a cotton cy-
cle at the highest temperature with-
out any laundry in the machine, to re-
move any manufacturing residue
from the drum and tub. Pour 1/2 a
measure of detergent into the main
wash compartment and start the ma-
chine.
Setting the language
When switching on the appliance for the
first time, by turning the programme selec-
tor dial 1 , you must set the language that
you prefer. When the appliance is switched
on again all the messagges in the display
will appear in this language.
Important! If the display is not showing any
language screen, the appliance has already
been switched on once. In such case, if you

Setting the acoustic signal
The machine is provided with an acoustic
device, which sounds in the following cases:
• at the end of the programme
• in the event of operating problems
If you wish to activate the acoustic device,
press the button 4 in order to select the
BUZZER menu. Press button 5 to confirm
your choice. The line around the correspond-
ing symbol starts blinking in order to indi-
cate that the regulation can be carried out.
Press again the button 4 to activate or de-
activate the acoustic signal.
Then press the button 5 to confirm your
choice.
Return to main menu
This setting function allows you to return to
the option menu.
Locate the BACK option by pressing the
button 4 .
Press the button 5 to confirm your choice.

Setting the time
After the desired language you must set the
time before the first wash. Remember to
change the setting time in accordance with
daylight-savings time or solar time.
The CLOCK setting permits you to modify/
set up the current time. It is important to
keep it updated as the current END Cycle
Time depends on it.
To set the time press repeatedly the button
4 to select the settings menu ( SETTINGS )
and confirm your choice by pressing button
5 .
