The suction area should not be blocked
fully or partially through the impurities.
Operation
The liquid level must at least be 3 cm (SCP
16000) and 8 cm (SDP 18000) for the pump
to suck in liquids independently.
If the liquid level is less than 4 cm (only SCP
16000), proceed according to instructions
in the chapter of flat suction.
Insert the plug in the socket and select
one of the following operating modes.
Automatic operation
In the automatic mode, the level switch con-
trols the pumping operations. The pump
starts when the fluid level reaches the level
sensor. The pump switches off automatical-
ly after 10 to 60 seconds (depending on the
ambient conditions) when the fluid level
falls below the level sensor. The pump au-
tomatically conducts the adaptation to the
necessary trail time. Thi setting remains
saved for a max. of 24 hours or until the
mains plug is pulled out. If the mains plug is
pulled prior to the 24 hour time period, or af-
ter the 24 hours have elapsed, the pump
will automatically set the trail time to the set
value of 10 seconds.
The optimising of the trail time prevents fre-
quent switching on and off of the pump dur-
ing rapidly increasing water levels. In this
case, the pump will work even more effec-
tively, the higher the level sensor is in-
stalled.
Manual operation
In manual opertions the pump remains
switched on continuously.
Set the switch at the level sensor to ON
position
Note:
Dry run leads to increased wear and tear;
do not leave the pump unattended when it
is running. Switch off the pump within 3
minutes of dry running.

Flat suction (only SCP 16000)
In flat suction mode, the fluids can be
sucked off up to 1 mm of residual height.
Remove pre-filter
Fold in the folding feet
Set the switch for operating mode to ON
position
When the remaining fluids have
reached a height of less than 10 mm,
press the dearation key or switch on/off
the pump many times by pressing the
mains switch till the fluid is sucked off.

Finish operation

Rinse the pump with clean water after
use.
Especially after running chlorinated wa-
ter or other liquids that leave residue be-
hind.
Note
Contaminations can accumulate and lead
to malfunctions.
Set the switch at the mains plug to OFF
position.
Disconnect the main plug from the sock-
et.
Clean the pre-filter with clean water.

Maintenance and Care

Maintenance
The appliance is maintenance-free.
In order to ensure a reliable switching of the
pump, the level sensor should be cleaned
with a cloth (at least every 2 months).
Storage
Store the appliance in a frost free area.
