5 Commissioning
The module has no adjustment elements,
which must be operated by the customer.
5.1 Addressing
The bus subscriber address is made up of
the address of the KE300 Communication
Unit within the tightening system and is de-
termined according to the following formula:
((Address + 1) x card-slot no.) + 1 =
BT300
Profibus subscriber address.

The desired I/O-width is selected in the ope-
rating program:
– I/O min: 2 Byte (per 16 inputs/outputs)
– I/O max: 64 Byte (per 512 inputs/out-
puts).
The I/O-width set in the operating program
must match the bus projecting, which has
been created with the relevant projecting tool
and the master data files delivered with it.
