Important
Observe the maximum permissible roof load for
your vehicle (see vehicle Owner's Manual).
Notes
These installation instructions depict the basic
carrier bars being fitted on the CLS-Class (model
series C 219). To fit the basic carrier bars on vehicles
of the S-Class (model series W/V 221), the R-Class
(model series 251) and the C-Class (model series
W 204), follow the same procedures.
Please contact a qualified specialist workshop if you
encounter difficulties when fitting the roof carrier
bars. Mercedes-Benz recommends that you use a
Mercedes-Benz Service Centre for this purpose.

The key number is stamped on the key. Please make
a note of the key number in the space below in case
you have to order extra keys at some time in the
5.5 kg

Each individual step of the installation instructions,
the warning notices, the general safety precautions
and the notes must be followed exactly. If the basic
carrier bars are not fitted correctly, they and the
load could become detached from your vehicle and
thus injure you and others and/or cause damage
to property, including damage to your vehicle.
Do not use accessories which have not been
approved by Mercedes-Benz for use in conjunction
with these basic carrier bars. The use of
non-approved accessories could cause the
accessories and/or the load to become detached
from the vehicle and thus injure you and others
and/or cause damage to property, including
damage to your vehicle.
