Reset button (Fig. 2)
When you press the Reset button,
the Central Station resets. Press the
Reset button for at least one second
to activate a reset. All locos stop. All
information stored in the Central
Station (e.g., locomotive speeds) is
lost. To restart a loco, select the loco-
motive's address with a throttle. Set
the speed to 0. Then restart the loco.
Emergency Stop
To prevent accidents, each MTS
throttle features an emergency stop
button marked "STOP." When you
press this button, the Central Station
immediately switches off all power to
the layout. All locos stop. If two loco-
motives were about to collide before
you pressed the emergency stop but-
ton, set the speed of these locos to 0
during the emergency stop. (You can
send commands to the Central
Station during the emergency stop.)
After about 3 seconds, press the
emergency stop button once to
restart operation. Then all locos con-
tinue with their previous speed and
direction settings. You also can press
the Reset button during the emer-
gency stop. Then all locos are reset
to their initial setting (loco stopped,
lights, smoke off, etc.).
Programming the loco address
To operate with the Multi-Train
System, each locomotive must be
assigned a loco address. You can
program the loco address using var-
ious MTS components, for example
LGB 55016 Loco Remote (only loco
addresses 1 - 15), LGB 55015
Universal Remote and LGB 55045
MTS PC Decoder Programming
Module. Check the instructions of
these MTS components for further
information.
