Electrical safety:

• The device must be wired in by a professional in accordance with the safety standards in effect
in the country of installation (NF C 15-100 in France). BWT MPI heat pumps have CE marking;
they will remain in compliance with the electrical safety requirements set out in this directive in as far as they
are wired in in accordance with the provisions set out in the standard NF C 15-100 : "Low voltage electrical
installations", and connected to a "building" mains that also complies with said standard.
• The equipment may not be modified. Any modification will entail loss of the guarantee and CE marking.
• The equipment must be connected to the electrical earth of the building it is housed in before switching the
device on: the installer shall check the continuity of the equipment's metallic ground and the grounding strip
(general earth terminal) on the mains distribution board.
HIGH LEAKAGE CURRENT, THE DEVICE MUST BE CONNECTED TO EARTH
The device must be installed in accordance with instructions provided in the installation manual and
repsecting the sepcificities of each installation.
The heat pump must always be disconnected from the mains before removing the access panel and/or
touching the hydraulic connections: during installation, carry out hydraulic connections before
wiring the heat pump in. To remove the heat pump, disconnect the heat pump from the electrical
supply before undoing the hydraulic connections.
Other safety recommendations:
• While the machine is running, some parts of the heat transfer fluid circuit can become very hot, and
• Never insert any object through the slots in the propeller grill
2.2 Important recommendation regarding the heat pump
Handling:
Handle the machine with care, never leave it lying on its side.
Maintenance:
Only use original spares sourced from the manufacturer.
In the case of malfunction, contact your Procopi agency.
